I’m Kara Adams, the educator behind Sow Arizona. I create practical, desert-specific gardening education for people growing in the Southwest—for those in search of practices that result in productive, water-wise gardens that work with the natural ecosystem instead of fighting it.

My practices are rooted in science, observation, and real-world experience, with a focus on helping home gardeners understand why things work here, not just what to do.

Through my YouTube channel, writing, and courses, I aim to make gardening in arid climates feel approachable, doable, and rewarding.

I am currently designing and adding digital products in this shop that are designed to support you step by step, from getting started to refining your skills. You’ll find guides, planting calendars, care references, and in-depth resources tailored specifically to Southwest growing conditions—no generic advice, no guesswork.

These downloads are meant to be used in the garden, referenced often, and built upon over time, giving you clear direction, seasonal confidence, and a deeper understanding of how to grow successfully where you live.
